Established in 1972, HK Savings Bank is one of the oldest mutual savings banks (“MSB”) and the second largest MSB in Korea, with over ￦2.0 trillion in assets. The Bank currently has 19 branches with 15 located in Seoul, the most among MSBs in Korea. HK’s business lines include corporate lending, project financing, mortgage loans and consumer loans. The Bank’s “119 Money” product has one of the leading market shares in the consumer loan market. The Company was sold to Acuon Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of J.C. Flowers in July 2016.
