Mr. Kim was also a member of The Carlyle Group’s Management Committee. Before Carlyle, Mr. Kim was Managing Director and COO of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking for Salomon Smith Barney and an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. Flora Wu is a Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Ms. Wu was a China Advisor at Sidley Austin LLP. Prior to Sidley Austin LLP, she worked as an Associate at Zhong Lun Law Firm. Ms. Wu received a BA from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, and LLM from Washington University in St. Louis and Fudan University School of Law.

Yao Xiao is a Director based in Beijing. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Xiao was a Vice President at Warburg Pincus. Prior to Warburg Pincus, he worked as an Associate at Goldman Sachs PIA and as a Senior Associate at Temasek Holdings. Mr. Xiao received a BS, with a dual degree in english and thermal engineering, from Tsinghua University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jun Xu is a Managing Director based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, he was a Vice President at Ally Bridge Group. Prior to that, he worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in Shanghai. Mr. Xu received a BA from Fudan University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Xu currently serves on the board of directors of Wendu Education.

Kazuo Yamataka is a Vice President based in Tokyo. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Yamataka was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. Mr. Yamataka received a BA from Keio University.

Tianyi Yang is a Senior Associate based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Yang was an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong. Mr. Yang received a BA from the University of Hong Kong and an MS from Columbia University.

Yudai Yano is an Associate based in Tokyo. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Yano was a Senior Associate at Integral Corporation. Prior to Integral Corporation, he worked as an Associate at Nomura Securities. Mr. Yano received a BA from The University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Anning Yao is a Vice President based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Ms. Yao was an Associate at Yunfeng Capital in Shanghai and Beijing. Prior to that, she was an Associate at Mu Sigma in New York. Ms. Yao received a BA from the University of Washington-Seattle and a MS in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mayuka Yonezawa is a Senior Associate based in Tokyo. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Ms. Yonezawa was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, she worked at Barclays Securities and Mizuho Financial Group. Ms. Yonezawa received a BA from the University of Tokyo.

Soomin Yoo is an Associate based in Seoul. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Ms. Yoo was an Associate at CVC Capital. Ms. Yoo received a BS from Seoul National University.

Jong-Ha James Yoon is a Partner based in Korea. Prior to MBK Partners, Dr. Yoon was a co-head of Korea for Carlyle Asia Partners. Prior to Carlyle, he was a Managing Director at Financial Advisory Services at KPMG in Seoul. He served as a First Lieutenant in the Korean Air Force and as Deputy Assistant to the Minister of National Defense for International Affairs. Dr. Yoon has a BA from Georgetown University, Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.

Dr. Yoon currently serves on the boards of directors of Dongjin Textile, NEPA and MH&Co. He is also a member of the advisory board of Public Officials Benefit Association of Korea.

Hongfei Yu is a Partner based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Yu was a Vice President in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked as an Associate in HSBC Investment Banking in Hong Kong. Mr. Yu received a BS in Economics and MS in Finance from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.

Mr. Yu currently serves on the boards of directors of Car Inc., Wendu Education and Siyanli.

Shelby Yu is a Director based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Ms. Yu was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she worked as a Consultant with Oliver Wyman in New York. Ms. Yu received a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Chris Sun Ho Yun is a Senior Associate based in Seoul. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Yun was an Associate at BofA Securities. Mr. Yun received a BA and an MS from Seoul National University and is a member of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountant.

Kuan Zhang is a Senior Associate based in Beijing. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Zhang was a Senior Associate at Centerbridge Partners. Prior to Centerbridge Partners, Mr. Zhang was an Associate at Credit Suisse. Mr. Zhang received a BS from Peking University.

Edward Zhou is an Associate based in Shanghai. Prior to joining MBK Partners, Mr. Zhou was an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Zhou received a BA from Nanjing University and an MS from HEC Paris School of Management.
